VocalPoint is back!

VocalPoint opens its 2024 season with gigs at the Beaver Brook Golf Course Restaurant on Sunday, April 14 from 3 – 6 pm in Haydenville / Williamsburg, Mass and later in the Spring at the Fairgrounds in Northampton, Mass during the Paradise City Arts Festival – Monday, May 27 from 12-3:30 pm.

‘Tis the Season – Rock, RnB, Jazz and more Sunday

VocalPoint, a new band of seasoned musicians in the valley, will be performing at the Beaver Brook Golf Course Pavilion in Williamsburg (Haydenville), Mass this Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 1:30 – 5:30 pm (note: time has been moved back an hour from original post).

Featured vocalists Matt Marotte, Barbara Ween and Deva Varela will be joined by Frank Varela on guitar, Rudi Weeks – bass, Ricky Marshall – drums/vocals and other special guests, TBA.

Late October Jazz at the Grill

There’s a chill in the air, but things will be hot at the 350 Grill in Springfield on Sunday night, October 22, 2023 from 6-9 pm as Barbara Ween on vocals teams up with Steve Moser – keys and bass, Ed Brainerd – flugelhorn and Clark Seibold on drums. Stop in for some great food, drink and lots of great jazz from some of the finest area musicians.

Our Last Gig at the Court

The Collegian Court will soon be closing its Chicopee location, and Friday evening will be our final gig there. So come and celebrate a fond farewell to the Court this Friday, June 10, 2022 from 6 pm to 9 pm. Barbara Ween on vocals, will be joined by Ed Brainerd – flugelhorn, Bobby Ferrier – guitar and George Kaye on bass. Please join us for some great food, drink and lots of jazz. Our deepest thanks to the Court management, staff and of course patrons for many memorable nights of jazz performance.

Barbara, Carol, and Green Street Trio are Back!

The Paradise City Arts Festival – 2022 is back at the Northampton fairgrounds on Memorial Day weekend. And on that Sunday, May 29 from 12 to 4 pm, guest vocalists Barbara Ween and Carol Smith will join the Green Street Trio featuring Paul Arslanian on piano, George Kaye on bass and and Jon Fisher on drums. They will be performing under the tent on the main stage in the food court. So bring family and friends for some great jazz and all that the festival has to offer!
