Sunday afternoon,’Cast of Thousands’, Jazz Benefit Concert in Plainfield, Mass

A concert, hosted by Matt Marotte, to benefit the Plainfield Historic Society will take place on Sunday afternoon, August 21, beginning at 1:30 pm. The concert location is 296 Main Street, Plainfield, Mass. Well, maybe not ‘thousands’, but it’s quite a line-up of area jazz vocalists and musicians. Donations to Smith Hudson House Museum much appreciated. Parking is right next door in the parking lot behind the Smith Hudson House. You are welcome to bring snacks — food and drink!

Vocalists include: Barbara Ween, Matt Marotte and Deva Varela with Don McMahon on piano, Pete Grimaldi – trumpet, Ed Mari – woodwinds, Dave Sporny – trombone, Frank Varela – guitar, Steve Bulmer – bass, and Chet Pasek on drums and our special guest vocalists Leslie Alexandra and Peter Newland!

Great location, great music, great time of year and an excellent cause. So please join us for this Sunday afternoon of great jazz and good will!
