After my gig with the Roger Saloom Band, I’ll be heading down to the Clarion Loft Lounge to catch what I can of one of my favorite jazz vocalists, Shiela Jordan. Sheila came into her own during the Charlie Parker era and has been performing ever since. If you don’t know her work, here are two You Tube clips from 1962.
