Memorial Day weekend has returned and with it, the Paradise City Arts Festival- 2019. The Valley Jazz Divas and Green Street Trio take the stage for some fun and fine jazz! Visit the festival and stop into the music tent to hear the Valley Jazz Divas with Barbara Ween, Jill Connolly, Carol Abbe Smith – vocals, and the Green Street Trio with Paul Arslanian – keys, George Kaye – bass and John Fisher on drums. They will be performing your favorites between Noon and 4 pm on Saturday, May 26, 2019 at the Fairgrounds in Northampton. So much to see – so much to taste – so much to hear!

On Sunday, April 28, 2019 from 6-9 pm, Barbara Ween and Gisele Litalien on vocals will be joined by Joe Belmont – guitar and Marty Jaffe on bass at the Iconica Social Club for a night of jazz and Brazilian classics. So, please treat yourself to an April night in Northampton, great food, coffee and juices and some hot jazz and latin. $10 Donation.

Join us this Sunday evening March 31, 2019, from 6-9 pm at the 350 Grill Steak House in Springfield for some great, live jazz with Barbara Ween – vocals, Alex Nakhimovsky – piano, Ed Brainerd – trumpets and George Kaye on bass. Yup, it’s March and it’s here again, so if you are a Pisces or love one or just want to wade into a great evening of live jazz, c’mon down to the Collegian Court in Chicopee, Friday March 8, 2019 from 7-10 pm for our annual Pisces Party. Barbara Ween on vocals will be joined by Ed Brainerd – flugelhorn, Joe Belmont – guitar, Steve Bulmer – bass and Chet Pasek on drums. Please join us for some great food, drink and jazz and help us add another candle to the Pisces birthday cake.

This Friday evening, September 21, 2018 at the Collegian Court in Chicopee from 7 to 10 pm, the Valley Jazz Divas will perform as part of the Blue Cube Jazz, Special Event and Buffet. The Valley Jazz Divas with Barbara Ween, Jill Connolly, Carol Abbe Smith – vocals, will perform with the Green Street Trio – Paul Arslanian – keys, George Kaye on bass and Claire Arenius, drums. This is a special ticketed event with buffet and requires tickets in advance and reservations. Last Friday night, Barbara and friends made their first appearance at Collegian Court in Chicopee, Mass. It was so well received the they have been invited back for another night of great jazz.  This Friday, May 18, 2018 from 7 – 10 pm, the ensemble will return with Barbara Ween on vocals, Ed Brainerd – flugelhorn, Bobby Ferrier – guitar, Jason Schwartz – bass, and Clark Seibold on drums. Come on down to Chicopee for some great food, drink and jazz.
